On August 25, Midea Group and JinkoSolar Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JinkoSolar") signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the group headquarters in Midea.
Wang Xingwang, Chief Information Officer of JinkoSolar, and Wang Xinliang, President of Midea Group's Enterprise Business, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties, Chen Kangping, Co-founder and CEO of JinkoSolar, Cao Haiyun, Chief Financial Officer, and Liu Hua, Chief Human Resources Officer; Fang Hongbo, Chairman and President of Midea Group, Jin Jiang, President of Meiyun Intelligent Digital, and Xu Guiyou, General Manager of KUKA China, attended the signing ceremony.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties will carry out extensive cooperation in various fields such as new energy business, digital transformation, and overall solutions for smart buildings. Among them, the two sides will cooperate in the new energy business sector, give full play to their respective advantageous resources, and jointly explore the application scenarios of photovoltaic, energy storage, energy management and other businesses on the client side, and at the same time, the two sides will work together to promote the sharing of customer resources for new energy projects, cooperate in the development of key projects, and jointly build a new energy ecosystem.
In addition, the two parties will explore cooperation in the field of digitalization, jointly promote the development and improvement of digitalization in the photovoltaic industry, create good economic and social benefits, and strive to create a digital model in the photovoltaic industry. The two parties are committed to digital construction, covering automation systems, digital management, data operations, integrated supply chains, and lean management.
Fang Hongbo introduced that Midea's digitalization has reached the 3.0 stage, which can achieve seamless connection, and the end-to-end value chain of the whole domain has reached 100% digitalization. JinkoSolar is developing rapidly and has a forward-looking layout in new industries such as photovoltaic and energy storage, and hopes that the two sides can strengthen exchanges and cooperation in business forms and enterprise management in the future.
Chen Kangping said that JinkoSolar's main business is photovoltaic and energy storage, and it has invested a lot and achieved good results, becoming the world's leading supplier of clean energy solutions. At the same time of business diversification, it also puts forward higher requirements for the efficient management and operation of the enterprise, and hopes to continuously improve the competitiveness of the sustainable development of the enterprise through cooperation with the United States.
Before the signing ceremony, Chen Kangping and his entourage visited KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Park, Midea Building Technology Smart Factory and the exhibition hall of Midea Group Headquarters.
