The park plans to invest 10 billion yuan, absorb more than 2,000 high-end scientific and technological talents from around the world, and build a national Industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing demonstration base and a low-carbon green park around the most core, cutting-edge and most potential business sectors of Midea Group, with an investment of 5 billion yuan in the first phase of the project, and an annual output value of no less than 70.2 billion yuan is expected to be put into operation in 2025.

Midea Group Digital Technology Industrial Park covers an area of 539 acres, with a total of three projects, namely Midea Group Household Air Conditioning Division Innovation Science and Technology Park, Midea Group Building Technology Division Shunde High-end Manufacturing Base and Guangdong Meichuang Xi Technology Co., Ltd. ("Meichuang Technology").
In response to the national "dual carbon" strategy and achieve green development and zero-carbon goals, the park design takes the iBUILDING digital platform as the core, realizes the integration of building structure and natural energy through analog and digital methods, and promotes the optimization of energy consumption structure. Carry out digital management of various carbon indicators in the park, apply green energy and renewable energy, high-efficiency HVAC, elevators, lighting, energy storage and cold storage and other equipment, build carbon neutrality in the whole value chain, and effectively reduce pollutant emissions.
The living facilities of the park will focus on the design principle of "vitality, logo, and ecology" to provide employees with a rich and natural working and rest environment. Midea Group's Digital Technology Industrial Park focuses on core technologies, high-tech, and basic technologies, including the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, digital twins and other technologies, and builds a first-class scientific and technological innovation platform through intelligent hardware and computing power upgrades, helping Midea Group to become a leading digital group in the era of the Internet of Things.
Among them, Midea Group's building Shunde high-end manufacturing base will increase the introduction of high-end talents such as doctors and masters, with no less than 100 doctors and no less than 500 masters, focusing on building digitalization, intelligence, and product core technologies.
The Innovation Science and Technology Park project of Midea Group's Household Air Conditioning Division will play an active role in technological innovation, create a global strategic cooperation platform, and promote the in-depth integration of industry, university, research and application. The Innovation Science and Technology Park plans to have 1,000 scientific and technological personnel and 135 supporting laboratories for science and technology, covering many disciplines such as thermodynamics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.

Among them, Midea Group's building Shunde high-end manufacturing base is a comprehensive base integrating R&D, manufacturing and sales of overall solutions for smart buildings, with a high-end factory with an annual production capacity of 4 million units and an output value of more than 22 billion yuan after the completion of the project. The base focuses on intelligent logistics, robot applications, digital twins, etc., to build a benchmark factory for intelligent production and digital operation, and has the core products of the business department, covering the production of multi-line, air duct machine, air source heat pump, roof machine, module machine and other equipment, which will improve the efficiency by more than 30% compared with traditional manufacturing methods, laying a solid and powerful foundation for sustainable development.
In addition, Meichuang Technology carries out the overall industrial layout around the upgrading of intelligent hardware and computing power, and builds electronic R&D and high-end manufacturing capabilities that match the main axis of Midea Group's "leading technology" strategy, so as to help customers in digital and intelligent transformation. With a total investment of about 350 million yuan, the high-end electronics research and production base of Meichuang Xi Technology can form an annual production capacity of 10 million sets and achieve an annual output value of 3 billion yuan after completion.
