On the same day, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between the two sides was held in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Dr. Hu Ziqiang, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Midea Group, led the R&D core management team and Academician Mao Junfa, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and other leaders and professors attended the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out long-term and in-depth cooperation in the technical fields of refrigeration performance, air duct, electronic control, materials, noise, health, energy saving, comfort, frequency conversion, logistics, algorithms, robots, intelligence and other technical fields, including but not limited to basic technology, key technology, cutting-edge technology, application technology research and related product and component development. In the future, these research results will be widely used in various fields such as Midea's smart home and digital innovation business.
At the same time, Midea Air Conditioning, the pillar industry of Midea Group's smart home business group, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University have established the "Advanced Air Conditioner Technology Joint R&D Center", based on Midea's "full value chain" strategic planning, focusing on household air conditioners, commercial multi-connection, household appliances and other product fields, laying out the core technology of home appliances and the future development direction of home appliances, and carrying out in-depth cooperation in basic theoretical research, advanced technology research and development, and transformation of technological achievements.
