The main research directions of the Silicon Valley Emerging Technology Center include computer vision, speech recognition and natural language understanding, robotics and navigation, and data science and analysis. 

At the same time, the Silicon Valley Emerging Technology Center also makes full use of Silicon Valley's geographical advantage as a global innovation center and actively establishes strategic partnerships with external leading technology companies, research institutions and top universities.

In 2019, in the field of speech recognition and natural language understanding, the Silicon Valley Emerging Technology Center undertook the key technology research of the group's unified speech solution and achieved practical application. In the field of computer vision, the intelligent technology research and application of the Silicon Valley Emerging Technology Center on products such as ovens, refrigerators and rice cookers have reached the international leading level. In particular, the key technology research of intelligent washing machines has won the highest award in China's intelligent science and technology, the "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Progress Award".
